Chang-Min Lee bass

Chang-Min Lee has held positions with several orchestras across the U.S. including the Spokane Symphony as Principal Double Bass and the Memphis and Annapolis Symphonies as Assistant Principal Double Bass. In addition to orchestral performance, Chang is an active soloist and chamber musician. He has performed concertos with the Spokane and Gonzaga Symphonies, and played in numerous chamber and solo recitals, often collaborating with his partner, Shannon Conley, an accomplished pianist and instructor.

Mr. Lee also has musical interests outside of the classical genre. He has performed rock music with Harlan T. Bobo and Jonathan Kirkscey in various venues in Memphis, Tennessee, as well as on several rock albums and radio broadcasts. He is an active writer of songs and other compositions. His music is featured in the animated film, \"Broken Robot's Diary,\" by animator and director, Robert Shaw.

He received his education at Temple University in Philadelphia and The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He studied under John Hood and Robert Kesselman, both members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Thomas Lederer, of the Dallas Symphony.
