Jonathan Estabrooks vocalist

Hailed by the New York Times as a 'robust baritone', baritone Jonathan Estabrooks has performed with major Symphony orchestras and Opera companies around the world including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra with Steven Reineke, the National Arts Center Orchestra under Pinchas Zukerman and the Israeli Chamber Orchestra among others. Having a rich and versatile timbre, his classical and pop roots have led to extensive experience in classical, musical theatre and crossover repertoire.

Upcoming engagements include his Kennedy Center Debut as Tasio in ‘Noli Me Tangere’, Podestat in ‘Dr. Miracle’ in Montreal and a concert of Rodgers and Hammerstein with the Seattle Symphony.

Discovered this year by 5-time Grammy Award winning producer Dave Reitzas (Groban, Streisand, Buble) and leading a successful Kickstarter Campaign, he traveled to the famed Westlake Studios in Hollywood to began work on his newly released debut classical crossover album ‘These Miles’ with the Macedonia Radio Orchestra, available now on iTUNES, Amazon and at jonathanestabrooks.com.

The 2013/14 season saw multiple debuts including Carnegie Hall and the Oratorio Society of New York (Blizzard Voices), Lyric Opera Virginia (Broadway and Beyond) and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (Some Enchanted Evening) with Broadway stars Ashley Brown and Aaron Lazar. He appeared as The Baron with Opera Lyra Ottawa (La Traviata), created the role of Alan Turning with ALT (The Turing Project), Tasio (Noli me Tangere) and returned for performance at the Caramoor Center for the Arts, Musicians of Ma’alwych and Eglise Historique in New Brunswick, Canada.

Mr. Estabrooks he has performed with the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, Kennett Symphony and the National Arts Center Orchestra under Pinchas Zukerman with past performances broadcast throughout Canada on CBC Television. He has performances for the Governor General, The Prime Minister of Canada, the US Ambassador to Canada, UN delegates and President Bill Clinton.

A native of Ottawa, Canada, Jonathan holds a Masters of Music from the Juilliard School and a bachelor of music from the University of Toronto.
