One of Vancouver’s favourite sons, internationally-renowned pianist Jon Kimura Parker returns home to perform Beethoven’s gorgeous Piano Concerto No. 1. Gifted young conductor Joshua Weilerstein leads a program that also includes Schumann’s beautiful, awe-inspiring Rhine Symphony, and Nielsen's enchanting symphonic poem Pan and Syrinx.
