Sarah Chang is one of the most dynamic and scintillating performers in the classical world today. She performs the popular Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1, her recording of which was named to Gramophon magazine’s list of the top 250 classical records of all time. This concerto is famous for its grace and lyrical, flowing melodies that show off the expressive possibilities of the violin through nearly the entire range of the instrument.

Schubert’s majestic Symphony No. 9, The Great in many ways ushered in the Romantic era, and is his defining work for orchestra, as well as one of the most impressive pieces of music that you can hear in live performance.

Constantin Trinks was born in Karlsruhe, Germany, and studied conducting at the Conservatory of his hometown with Wolf-Dieter Hauschild and piano with Günter Reinhold. Major musical influences came from Thomas Hengelbrock and Christian Thielemann combining important insights into historically informed performance practice as well as a strong romantic line. www.constantintrinks.com

Sarah Chang is recognized as one of the greatest violinists in the world today, and one of the most dynamic live performers. Her performances inspired the New York Times to write, “Her gifts are at a level so removed from the rest of us that all we can do is feel the appropriate awe and then wonder on the mysteries of nature. The ancients would certainly have had Ms. Chang emerging fully formed from some Botticellian scallop shell.” www.sarahchang.com
