The Vancouver Symphony will present the 22nd Annual Symphony Lovers' Ball on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West, which will be transformed into an elegant Ballroom for this magical event.

Almost 500 of Vancouver's corporate and philanthropic community leaders will enjoy an evening of exceptional entertainment, wine and cuisine and dance the night away to music performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra – a truly remarkable experience! No other event in Vancouver offers the opportunity to enjoy such a thrilling night, while providing invaluable support for this cultural jewel.

Since its inception, the Symphony Lovers' Ball has raised in excess of $5.5 million net in support of the VSO. These funds have helped to attract and retain some of North America's finest musicians, bring legendary international performers to Vancouver, such as Lang Lang, Yo-Yo Ma, Renee Fleming and Itzak Perlman, to name just a few and offer 13 different education programs for young people in our community – including over 90 in-school visits.

Committee

The Symphony Lovers' Ball is organized by an incredibly dedicated group of volunteers. The Committee this season is led by Co-Chairs Nancy Margitan and Liz Gordon and we are grateful for their continuing efforts. They continue to work tirelessly to ensure a successful evening that is delightful for all in attendance.
