Join the VSO String Quartet onboard the ms Zaandam


Step onboard the musically themed ms Zaandam for a very special luncheon. Experience the incredible hospitality of Holland America Line and the Vancouver Symphony as they present a private performance by VSO Concertmaster Dale Barltrop, Jason Ho, Emilie Grimes and Olivia Blander, a gourmet four-course lunch with wine, and a self-guided tour of the ship.

Please provide the legal name, date of birth and citizenship for each guest as shown on the valid passport, driver's license or BCID which must be presented at customs prior to boarding the ship.

Friends and family are welcome, but must be 19 years or older to attend.

A Symphony of Style: Lunch, Music & Fashion

On Thursday, November 5th the Vancouver Symphony Volunteers along with Spill It Sister and Lord's Shoes & Apparel will present a stylish afternoon of music, lunch and fashion. Featuring a special musical performance, the event will be held at a private club in Vancouver and includes a silent auction, raffle and door prizes.

Presenting the Annual Symphony Volunteer Scholarship

The Vancouver Symphony Volunteers awarded their annual Symphony Volunteer Scholarship for $1000.00 to Aydan Con on Sunday, January 13th at the Vancouver Academy of Music. Aydan was one of the finalists in the 21st Annual Bjorn & Lori Hareid Senior Secondary Competition in Piano. Designed to identify young talented artists, the participants are provided adjudication, a performance opportunity and prize money to assist them with their studies.
