On November 5th, the Symphony Volunteers along with Art2Wear and classical guitarist, Daniel Bolshoy presented a stylish afternoon of music, lunch and fashion. Mr. Bolshoy gave a special musical performance and the creations of Vancouver designer Marianne Greaves were presented on models.

The Vancouver Symphony Volunteers awarded their annual Symphony Volunteer Scholarship for $1000.00 to Aydan Con on Sunday, January 13th at the Vancouver Academy of Music. Aydan was one of the finalists in the 21st Annual Bjorn & Lori Hareid Senior Secondary Competition in Piano. Designed to identify young talented artists, the participants are provided adjudication, a performance opportunity and prize money to assist them with their studies.
