A Rewarding Shopping Experience
at the VSO Gift Shop

The Vancouver Symphony Gift Shop is located in the Orpheum Theatre lobby and is open one hour prior to VSO concerts, during the interval and for approximately 30 minutes following the concert. Some highlights include:

• Vancouver Symphony Orchestra CDs
• a wide selection of recordings including the season's repertoire and featured guest artists
• music related gift items and apparel
• accessories including shawls, scarves, purses, jewelry, reading glasses
• music books for adults and children
• seasonal gifts

Staffed by volunteers the Shop also sells CDs at the Chan concert series. Frequently post-concert CD signings take place in the lobby area.

All proceeds from the Symphony Gift Shop sales support the Vancouver Symphony.

New to the VSO Gift Shop: Chopin: Piano Concertos featuring famed Canadian-born pianist and renowned Chopin interpreter Janina Fialkowska, and the VSO under the baton of Bramwell Tovey. The disc, consisting of Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21 and Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11, was recorded live during a performance by the VSO in March 2010. Ms. Fialkowska continues her year-long international celebration of Chopin's 200th anniversary with the release of this live-concert recording of his beloved piano concertos. Celebrated for her interpretations of the classical and romantic repertoire, she is particularly distinguished as one of the great interpreters of the piano works of Chopin and Mozart.
