Bio
Ian has been singing for nearly 15 years now. Some of his past role credits include “Count Almaviva” in Rossini's The Barber of Seville, “Don Ramiro” in Rossini's La Cenerentola, “Rinuccio” in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, “Nikolaus Sprink” in Kevin Puts' Silent Night, “Tamino” in Mozart's The Magic Flute, “Don Ottavio” in Mozart's Don Giovanni, “Hoffmann” in Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann, “Count Libenskof” in Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims, “The Prince” in Dvořák's Rusalka, recently as “Spoletta” in Puccini's Tosca alongside Gregory Dahl, Yonghoon Lee, and Rhoslyn Jones conducted by Jacques Lacombe, and as “Fadinard” in Nino Rota's Il cappello di paglia di Firenze. In concert Ian has sung the tenor solos for Puccini's Messa di Gloria, Haydn's Creation, and a number of times for the VSO's annual Christmas Concerts.
