Bio

Kiho Sohn is a tenor and a fourth-year undergraduate student at UBC. Kiho studied under Melanie Kruger, J. Patrick Raftery, and is now under the tutelage of Nancy Hermiston. During his high school years, he also performed with BC Honour Vocal Jazz. After his high school graduation, Kiho performed with the Kwantlen Chamber Singers and the Kwantlen Chorus under the direction
of Gail Suderman when he attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University. In his first two years at UBC, he performed with the University Singers under the direction of Graeme Langager. In his third year, Kiho performed as Marco in the The Gondoliers, as the lead "The Runaway Boy" in Shadow Catch, and the role of Gameskeeper in Rusalka. In his fourth year Kiho has performed in Opera & Arias: A Celebration at Bard on the Beach, the uncle of Vezinet in the Il Cappello di Paglia Firenze, and Fenton in Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor.
