Bio
Born premature in VGH at just 3 pounds, Maya preceded her twin sister and came out flexing her entire three octave vocal range for all 14 attendees in the OR. The lead obstetric surgeon prophesied she would be a soprano someday. True to life, 11 year old Maya bestows on any who will listen her cherubic voice. She studies Piano, and made her solo debut at 10 years old with The Victoria Symphony. She has performed with Victoria Children’s Choir and appears on studio recordings with a prominent Children's entertainer. She savours the opportunity to be a member of The Christ Church Cathedral Choristers and enjoyed singing her way through the United Kingdom in summer 2023.
