Bio
Parvin Mirhady was head of the costumes department and the costume design consultant at Vancouver Opera from 1999–2020. Mirhady created the original costume designs for 3 operas including Nixon in China, Barber of Seville, and Dark Sisters. During this time, she also worked with UBC Opera and designed the costumes for Silent Night and The Passenger. She started working
with UBC full-time in 2021.
