Bio
Shauna is an award-winning writer, actor, and director. With a BA and an MA, she has lived in Michigan, Massachusetts, Kenya, Honduras, Amsterdam, and now Vancouver, Canada.
Shauna loves storytelling in all its forms and has written a musical puppet film, a bilingual Christmas play, several one-act comedies, and a delightful children’s story called The Spectacular Sarah T. Murdoch. She is currently writing a Christmas Musical for Pacific Theatre with singer-songwriter Laura Koch.
As an actor, Shauna has worked on numerous projects including Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, When Calls the Heart, and The Babysitters Club.
Shauna was also one of six participants chosen for the Pacific Screenwriting Program's prestigious Scripted Series Lab in 2022.
The oldest of six siblings, Shauna has had a lot of practice entertaining and being entertained by kids. She now has two of her own and is married to a jazz musician with whom she often collaborates.
