Important Message Regarding COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)

On March 12th the BC Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry directed the cancellation of all gatherings larger than 250 people in an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19.

This is an unprecedented situation for the VSO and the world and as a result we have cancelled or postponed all VSO concerts until April 5. The April 3 & 4 Joe Hisaishi concert and April 5 Day of Music will be rescheduled to a future date.

This situation poses unique financial repercussions for the VSO. As a non-profit organization, we rely on ticket sales and donations to support this exceptional orchestra.

We ask you to consider donating your tickets back to the VSO for a tax receipt. You also can exchange your tickets for a voucher to a future concert for free. Joe Hisaishi tickets will be honoured at the rescheduled date. All ticketholders will be contacted when that date is set.

In order to support Social Distancing we are moving to a virtual box office for the forseeable future. You can use the form linked here to donate your tickets back to the VSO or exchange them for a future concert voucher. You can email customerservice@vancouversymphony.ca with specific requests. Or you can leave a message at 604-876-3434 and our team will respond as quickly as possible.

We greatly appreciate your patience as we are dealing with a large number of ticket holders at this time.

If you would like to make a donation of any amount to the VSO during this unprecedented time, please do so online or call us at 604-684-9100.
