This concert will be a real celebration of three centuries of string music – from J.S. Bach, to contemporary Celtic! The dynamic North Shore Celtic Ensemble will join the VSO School of Music’s Sinfonietta Advanced String Ensemble for some high-spirited music that draws on Celtic, classical, jazz and folk influences – plus music by Dvořák, Glazunov, Hans Zimmer, and Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major.
