Take a stroll through the streets of gay Paris in the opening concert of hte 2019-2020 Tea & Trumpets. New VSO Assistant Conductor makes his debut alongside host Christopher Gaze. The program features music of Bizet, Offenbach and Gerswhin’s entire An American in Paris. PLUS: The VSO debut of Kai Chow, winner of the VSO SoM’s 18-19 Future of Excellence Competition, performing the violin solo in Massenet’s gorgeous ‘Méditation’ from the opera Thaïs.
