Classics & Classic Jazz: Sinfonietta

Join the VSO School of Music for a unique musical experience, as Bach meets BeBop at the Vancouver Playhouse! Featuring the VSO SoM’s two advanced string orchestras Sinfonietta & Intermezzo performing with a trio of great Canadian jazz artists Miles Black; Jodi Proznick & Jesse Cahill, as well as guest vocalists, this concert pays homage to classical giant Bach in its first half, before celebrating standard and modern classics of the jazz genre in the second half.
