Jean Coulthard Readings

Named in honour of one of BC’s most beloved composers, the Jean Coulthard Readings and Mentorship Program gives emerging BC composers an invaluable opportunity to develop their orchestral writing under the guidance of the VSO and have their work read by a professional orchestra.

For the past ten months, these six composers had the opportunity to work with guests composers, VSO orchestra members and also VSO JCR Mentor, Edward Top, to create and expand their understanding of composition. Join us on Sunday June 9 at 10am to celebrate their compositions at the Annex Theatre.
