Bruckner

Symphony No. 5

Approx. 120 Minute Performance

Mendelssohn’s final concerto ranks among the top violin concertos of all time, impeccably bridging Classical and Romantic styles. Violinist Maria Ioudenitch breathes new life into this perennial favourite. Bruckner’s symphonies are often called “Cathedrals of Sound” and his fantastic fifth is no exception, culminating in one of the most triumphant finales ever composed. German conductor Constantin Trinks leads us on a spiritual journey of mystery and grandeur.
