Important Note

Please note: due to the announcement of the BC Provincial Health Officer banning gatherings of over 250 people, we regret to announce that this performance is cancelled.

Internationally acclaimed Grammy-winning conductor Leonard Slatkin leads an all-American program that explores themes of time and memory.

Appalachian Spring’s evocation of 19th-century American settlers meets Barber’s nostalgia plus McTee’s playful Double Play, a work commissioned by Slatkin.

This concert is part of the Musically Speaking and Symphony Sundays Series.
