Symphony at Sunset

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO), in partnership with The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, is excited to announce the return of Symphony at Sunset, a free open-air concert taking place on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Sunset Beach Park.

This year, concert-goers will be humming along to recognizable music from hit films like Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, E.T. and more, plus a selection of classical favourites!

Conducted by the VSO’s Music Director Otto Tausk, this sunset performance by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra will begin with an orchestral arrangement of the Coast Salish Anthem, gifted to the VSO by the grandson of the late Chief Dan George.
