Inside the Symphony is a brand new 3-concert series that brings you closer to the music, in a short, after-work concert format.
It’s all about love: Maestro Tausk leads the VSO in two of the most beautiful odes to tragic love ever written.
The concert begins at 6:30 and lasts an hour, with the conductor taking you inside the music with a deeper dive into the main orchestral work on the program in a casual and insightful analysis before the piece is played.
Sip on our Happy Hour drink feature, The Love Potion, while you enjoy some jazz music performed by James Danderfer and his trio in the Orpheum Lobby before and after the concert. Then mix and mingle with VSO musicians in the lobby after the performance — and still have time for an after-concert dinner or drink.
PLUS special John Fluevog shopping after party at the Granville store, with 50% of sales going towards the VSO’s education program.
