The VSOSoM Percussion Ensemble joins SINFONIETTA for Leonard Bernstein’s electrifying Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. VSO concertmaster Nicholas Wright and Associate Principal Bassist Evan Hulbert are soloists in Bottesini’s dazzling Grand Duo. PRELUDIO presents music from Kung Fu Panda, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Dance of the Tumblers. CAMERATA revels in the Baroque splendour of Charles Avison’s Concerto in C Major. INTERMEZZO performs Mozart’s sublime Symphony no. 25.
