Volunteer Council

The Volunteer Council is made up of recognized volunteer leaders who have demonstrated outstanding support for the volunteer organization, and who are committed to the goals of the Vancouver Symphony Society.  The Council is a resource link between the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and volunteers. Its work is twofold: to provide leadership to volunteers through training and communication and by providing financial support for the orchestra and administration through events including the Holland America Luncheon and the Symphony of Style.

Leadership roles are assumed in succeeding years after spending time observing and participating as committee members. The Council meets 3 times each season and the executive and committees may meet more frequently.
