Patrons Circle

The arts have always depended on patrons, those people who recognize the value of investing in the arts in our community, and the Vancouver Symphony could not exist without these dedicated supporters.

Patrons not only make it possible for the VSO to perform each season with the world’s best guest conductors and soloists, but also make an investment in the future of classical music in our great city, creating a legacy of live symphonic music for generations to come.

The Vancouver Symphony is deeply grateful to its Patrons at all levels of giving and is pleased to offer exclusive opportunities to meet the guest artists and members of the orchestra in appreciation of your support.

Donations to the Vancouver Symphony are always gratefully received and are tax creditable!

ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY – Tuesday, December 15, 2020

Our annual holiday event, held virtually. Hear from VSO musicians, make our speciality holiday cocktail from CIBO, enjoy holiday tunes from students at the VSO School of Music, and let faculty member Kevin Zakresky lead you through a whirlwind history of the Christmas carol. And warm up your singing voices – yes, there will be carol singing (don’t worry, there’s always the mute button).

OPENING NIGHT CELEBRATION – Friday, October 16, 2020

Meet us pre-concert over Zoom and raise a glass to the resilient symphony that is the VSO. A new season, a new way to experience the VSO, and a new way to celebrate. Special guests include VSO and VSO School of Music President and CEO Angela Elster, Board Chair Etienne Bruson, musicians of the VSO – and we have a special message from Maestro Otto Tausk.
