Help Orchestrate the next 100 years

Vancouver Symphony Foundation

The 2018/19 season is a milestone year for the VSO—the first of Canada’s top three orchestras to reach their 100th season—and to ensure a secure and vibrant second century we are embarking on a special 100th Anniversary Campaign

This $30 million campaign will support the VSO and VSO School of Music today and into the future.

$25M – Will be added to our endowment Fund, bringing to a total of $50 million—the second largest orchestra endowment fund in Canada.  A strong endowment is a vital element of the VSO’s future providing secure and stable funding to help with long range planning.

$2M – Will support and expand the number of programs being offered at the VSO School of Music to meet the community’s growing demand.

$3M – Will start a fund called Tomorrow Starts Today providing working capital for the next 3-5 years while pledges to the campaign are being fulfilled.  These funds will be used to retain and attract musicians and guest soloists as well as to develop new initiatives that support the VSO’s current and future plans.

We are currently at 63% of our way to our $30 million goal.

AND, right now, your special 100th Anniversary contribution, can have double the impact!
