Make sure you’re able to receive the VSO’s emails
Below you will find a list of instructions for whitelisting emails from the VSO, sorted by email client. If you require further assistance, our customer service team will be happy to assist you.
- Step 1: Enter mail.yahoo.com in the website address
- Step 2: Click on “Sign in” on the top right of the page
- Step 3: Enter your email address and click “Next”
- Step 4: Enter your password and click “Next”
- Step 5: Click on the gear icon on the top right of the page to open settings menu
- Step 6: Select “More Settings” at the bottom of the menu
- Step 7: Click on “Filters” menu
- Step 8: Click on “+ Add new filters”
- Step 9: Enter a name for your filter
- Step 10: Select “contains” from the drop down menu
- Step 11: Enter vancouversymphony.ca to filter emails sent by VSO
- Step 12: Click on “Inbox” from the dropdown menu to send VSO emails to your Inbox
- Step 13: Click on the blue “Save” button to save your filter
- Step 14: There will be a pop-up saying that you’ve successfully saved a filter. You can also check below to make sure a filter has been created to receive VSO emails in your inbox
- Step 1: Enter outlook.office.com in the website address
- Step 2: Enter your email address
- Step 3: Enter your password and click “Next”
- Step 4: Click on the gear icon on the top right of the page to open settings menu
- Step 5: Select “View all Outlook Settings” at the bottom of the menu
- Step 6: Click on “Mail” and then “Junk email” menu
- Step 7: Under ‘Safe senders and domains,’ click on “+ Add” and enter vancouversymphony.ca and then click enter on your keyboard to save
- Step 8: You can see that you’ve successfully created a filter to receive VSO emails
- Step 9: Make sure to always click on the blue “Save” button to save your changes.
- Step 1: Enter www.gmail.com in the website address
- Step 2:Enter your email address and click “Next”
- Step 3: Enter your password and click “Next”
- Step 4: Click on the gear icon on the top right of the page to open settings menu
- Step 5: Select “View all Outlook Settings” at the bottom of the menu
- Step 6: Click on “Filters and Blocked Addresses”
- Step 7: Click on “Create a new filter”
- Step 8: Enter vancouversymphony.ca to filter emails sent by VSO
- Step 9: Click on “Create filter”
- Step 10: Check the box beside “Never send it to Spam” before clicking “Create filter” button
- Step 11: You can see that you’ve successfully created a filter to receive VSO emails in your inbox
