Welcome to the VSO’s 95th anniversary season!

The 2013/2014 season celebrates ninety-five years of making music for the people of Vancouver and British Columbia, from 1919 to the present. As we venerate the past and celebrate the people who made the VSO what it is throughout the years, Maestro Bramwell Tovey and the VSO boldly look forward to the future, with exciting, brand new additions to the musical landscape of our city – additions like the VSO Spring Festival, Pacific Rim Celebration, and New Music Festival. The 95th Anniversary Season also presents the very best in classical masterpieces, Symphony Pops, matinees, and music for children and families.
