Unanimousfirst prize winner of three prestigious international violin competitions in France, Italy and Spain, Yi-Jia Susanne Hou has performed with leading orchestras around the world. In 2013 she recorded the Beethoven Violin Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra playingan outstanding 1735 ex-Fritz Kreisler Mary Portman Guarneri Del Gesu Violinas a tribute to its unique history. In 2016 she performed and recorded the Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, awork she subsequently touredwith in Canada and China.
A passionate advocate formusic education, Susanne Hou consistently engages in creative projects involvingearly classical music coaching as well as mentoring aspiring young artists.
