VSO at VanDusen

Pack a blanket and bring your friends to enjoy a late-afternoon concert in the garden with a refreshing twist. Romantic favourites by Mendelssohn and Ravel are featured alongside engaging works by popular contemporary composers. Purchase from a selection of beverages and snacks during the pre-concert happy hour, with music provided by a live DJ. Then settle in for a String Quintet by Mendelssohn as well as the lush, romantic sounds of Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro, for Flute, Clarinet, String Quartet and Harp. Refuel in the intermission, and then be entranced with new musical discoveries in the second half. This event is licensed and only open to those 19 years and over.
