Third Horn/Assistant Principal
WINSLOW AND BETSY BENNETT CHAIR
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, William has traveled around the world performing on tour with orchestras in Mongolia, Japan, Korea, Slovenia, and Turkey.
After completing his Master’s degree at The Juilliard School in New York City, William Loveless has performed with many orchestras across America, including the Hawaii Symphony, Oregon Symphony, and San Antonio Symphony. He has also performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, as part of a student exchange led by the Music Academy of the West. William also performed as 3rd horn in the Auckland Philharmonic in New Zealand. And most recently will be the 3rd Horn in the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
William has studied with Larry Lowe at Brigham Young University, and Eric Reed and Julie Landsman at Juilliard. Apart from playing the horn, he enjoys cooking and baking with his wife Becca and playing with his son and young daughter. He is also an avid hiker and camper and enjoys getting outdoors and going on adventures
