VSONMF03 Bizarre Bazaar

Viviane Hagner (“an almost hauntingly masterful display of technique and artistry” – Washington Post) finds poetry in the new and freshness in the old in a rare solo violin program weaving together works from five centuries.

Bridging centuries, continents and generations, Kari Kriikku leads young musicians of the VSO School of Music’s Sinfonietta on a bravura musical journey around the globe, blending traditional folk melodies with exotic new sounds and voices.
