Philip Glass’ Eleventh Symphony

Experience Philip Glass’ mesmerizing Eleventh Symphony. From its majestic opening through to a shattering climax, Glass’ symphony takes its place as one of the great works of the 21st century. Joining Glass on the program is the Canadian premiere of Steve Reich’s Jacob’s Ladder with Synergy Vocals (UK), alongside VSO clarinetist Jeanette Jonquil in John Adams’ Gnarly Buttons, and a world premiere from Canada’s Linda Catlin Smith.
